It may have been termed a 'hotel,' but the lack of lounges or common spaces was truly shocking. The room was oddly warm, and the toilet sounded like it was auditioning for a horror film. I expected an upgrade after all this, but I guess that was too much to ask.

I experienced several maintenance issues during my stay, including doors that wouldn't close properly and worn-out paint peeling off the walls. The staff at reception lacked warmth and friendliness, contributing to a disappointing first impression. Additionally, the public areas needed more attention, like the narrow, steep stairways that made it difficult to navigate comfortably with luggage.

But my room was like a sauna, and I swear the toilet could join a heavy metal band with that noise!
